GS/XG Wizard

This is a clever tool disk for all users of XG and GS compatible MIDI equipment (inc. sound cards). A lot of effort has gone into making these templates easy to use, so you can get right inside his GM/GS/XG synth and access the editing features. As more and more people are buying synth soundcards and tone modules with just a volume control the finer points of editing and controlling sounds are becoming more difficult to access. That’s were the Newtronic XG/GS Wizard will help.

Technical Specification:

The disk is split up into files of editing parameters and a folder of fade types (volume,reverb etc.).

Edit Parameters: All of these files are on multiple tracks of the same channel. There is on parameter change per part. This is so that many parameters can be tried out and the effect listened to without the need for constant re-loading. When you are happy with the parameter you have set you can delete the part or put it to one side for later use.

Fades: This folder contains 66 types of fade data split into different categories. There are simple fade ins and fade outs but also volume stabs/builds and reverb/chorus fade ins/outs.
