Swing & Breakbeat

You will find over 60 files of breakbeats, swingbeats and fill-ins on this disk. All of these files were played on a live kit with acoustic triggers for an authentic live feel. The smooth, soulful rhythms combine the natural, funk-laden edge of a real drummer with the simple controllability of MIDI.

Each file is a separate beat and each instrument is named on a separate track. This gives you complete control of the mix through muting different parts. Each file has a different tempo already set which brings out the best feel of the beat although this can of course be adjusted as you desire.

Technical Specification:

2 demonstration song files (demosw: swing demo, demostrt: straight demo) which are set up for GM playback. Just start them and hear what can be done!

30 fully arranged straight drum patterns.

19 fully arranged swingbeat drum patterns (which have a triplet feel).

18 fully arranged drum breaks intended for fills in songs.
