Filter Kit

The Newtronic Filter Kit allows authentic emulation of TB303 and other old analogue synth filter sweeps using today’s midi modules and sound cards. 80 files of resonance and cut-off frequency data allow you to directly control your XG/GS compatible sound module and sound card. Each filter file comes with a musical example on a separate track which shows off the filter in action.

This can be used for inspiration or you can add the filter effects to your own tracks. The XG controller can be easily transformed to work with other equipment, as long as they provide the facility to control the filter parameters via MIDI (e.g. Novation Bass Station).

Technical Specification:

• Combined filter templates (resonance + cut-off frequency parameters) for use with arpeggios, crazy analogue style effects, solo lines and TB303 bass lines (20 templates).
• Cut-off frequency filter templates including a variety of timed sweeps for use with chords, fade ins and outs are provided. There are also examples for use with bass lines and awesome rhythmic filter jumps. (52 templates)
• Resonance filter templates featuring timed sweeps (1, 2 , 4, 8 bars long) including panning. (8 templates)
• All templates are available in both XG and GS format.
